Support Groups

Sometimes special support is needed and helpful. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to or to reach out to. West Tennessee Healthcare and the West Tennessee Women's Center is happy to assist the following support groups and resources:

Heart & Soul Neonatal ICU Family Support: Parent and grandparent volunteers address the unique emotional needs of families dealing with the rollercoaster ride of their baby being a patient in the NeoICU. For more information, call 731-541-5745.

Saving Little Hearts meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis Center for Child Development. Call 731-668-9070 for more information.

Compassionate Friends International Support Group is an organization that assists with self-help online support for families who have experienced the death of a child. www.compassionatefriends.org.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance offers the A Better Tomorrow group that meets on Thursday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Call Steve at 731-422-1693 or Will at 731-617-0951 or go to their web site at www.dbsalliance.org for more information.

Domestic Violence Support Group for Survivors and Victims: Meets Thursdays, 6-8 p.m. Call the Women's Resource Assist Program (WRAP) for more information, 731-668-0411.
