Parking:
Visitors may park in Garage 1 at the corner of West Forest Avenue and Summar Drive. Advantages of Garage 1 are:
- Well-lit
- Climate controlled access into the hospital
- Security and surveillance cameras monitor that area
- Security telephones for assistance
- Color-coded walls to help you find your vehicle
From the blue level, visitors may enter the hospital through a connector that leads to the first floor and the Information Desk.
Parking is also available in Garage 2 and outdoors on the visitor/outpatient parking lot which is located off Skyline Drive at the hospital's main entrance.
Visiting Hours:
- Ask our staff about specific visiting hours on your patient's floor or area.
- Jackson-Madison County General Hospital's public entrances are open 5 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. After hours, you must enter through our Emergency Department off Skyline Drive. Visitor access to the rest of the hospital is restricted at that time.
Dining Options:
Visitors have several dining options listed below. If you prefer to eat with your patient in the room, contact the nurses' station to order a meal tray ($5 each).
