The Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Program, which is effective in treating more than 60 conditions, is available at the Sports Plus Rehab Centers Central location. Certified therapists use MLD's safe, effective and gentle approach to drain excess fluid from the body's tissues. MLD has been proven especially effective in treating persons with Lymphedema. An Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Program is available for patients with neurological conditions caused by illness or injury who can benefit from a team approach to treatment. The only Pressure Mapping System in Northwest Tennessee is available at Work Plus Rehab Center. The system creates a computerized color image of a patient's pressure points that occur during seating and positioning. This image allows therapists to determine proper seating surfaces and wheelchair adjustments that give patients optimal pressure distribution. The system is also beneficial in teaching patients pressure adjustment strategies that promote healthy skin and prevent skin breakdown. Sports Medicine is an area of specialty at the Plus Rehab Centers that is staffed with licensed physical therapists and certified athletic trainers who specialize in the evaluation and treatment of all sports injuries. A community-based Sports Medicine Program provides injury prevention education and coverage at sporting events for area middle schools, high schools and universities.

Wound Care is available for inpatients at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. The goal of wound care is to assess and treat non-healing wounds to promote a better quality of life for patients. Patients with the following diagnoses can benefit from wound care: diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, skin trauma, chronic wounds, vascular ulcers, other related skin problems and non-healing surgical incisions or amputations. The Wound Management Center is the only facility with three Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chambers (HBOT) outside of Nashville in Tennessee.
