The Glow Out 5K benefits the American Cancer Society for cancer prevention and recovery. Day of race- 6:30pm registration; 7:30pm Run/Walk starts. Participants are encouraged to wear glow-in-the-dark apparel, face paints, trinkets or whatever they choose to make this run fun and enjoyable. Prize for best 'glow-out' participant.
Madison County Relay For Life is a fun night of celebrating, remembering, and fighting back. We celebrate survivorship and hope that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Beauty Bootcamp is designed for girls with type 1 diabetes (T1D) ages 12-18. The session will be lead by Miss Germantown, Cassidy Sheppard, teaching inner and outer beauty training. Focusing on things like daily struggles for a teen, body image, self-esteem, etc. Miss Germantown will also give some simple make-up and modeling tips to the girls! Health Department Diabetic Educator, Amanda Johnson, will also join us to give tips for T1D's during the adolescent years.
This will be a fun, engaging event and everyone is invited to bring along a friend or sibling who falls into this age category (even if they are not a T1D)!
