Camp Bluebird is a three-day camp for adult cancer survivors at beautiful Lakeshore Campground sponsored by the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation and BellSouth Telephone Pioneers. This program provides a weekend getaway for cancer survivors twice a year and is open to all cancer survivors. Call Mollie Taylor at 731-541-6377 for more information or to register.
Look Good and Feel Better meets the last Monday of each month at the Kirkland Cancer Center. This is a free program from the American Cancer Society designed for women dealing with hair loss and skin changes from chemotherapy and radiation. You will learn specific techniques to help make the most of your appearance while undergoing treatment. You will also take home a makeup package valued at $200. Women are welcome to come to this class once per cancer diagnosis.
