Are the medications for the children flavored?  
Yes, many of the medications are flavored for kids.

Do you have a pediatric nutritionist?
Yes, we have a specially trained nutritionist to look at the diets of all children.

What ages of children can be taken care of on the Pediatrics Unit?
The Pediatric Unit cares for infants through 17 years of age.

What is a Child Life Specialist?
We are excited to have a Certified Child Life Specialist on staff. The CLS is dedicated to reduce the stress and anxiety that children and their families face while in the hospital.

Will my child receive a Little General stuffed puppy when admitted?

Yes, we give all children admitted to our unit a Little General puppy.

Are there breastfeeding consultants available?

We have three International Board Certified Lactation Consultants available to help with your breastfeeding concerns.
