Training

Child Care Resource and Referral offers training for child care providers. Our classes are approved by the Tennessee Department of Human Services and are offered a variety of dates and times for your convenience. We offer training sessions on many topics to individual centers, family centers and group centers. If several agencies request the same topic, we can collaborate the training.

Tennessee Child Care Provider Training (TN-CCPT) provides many of the large group training sessions. Please call Child Care Resource and Referral at (731) 660-7364 or 1-800-858-2738 for more information or you may e-mail us at kccrc@wth.org. Or, you can register for training sessions at www.tnccrr.org.

Some friendly reminders:

  • No children allowed in the training sessions.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not receive a certificate for the training session. However, you are welcome to stay for the remainder of the session.
  • If you sign up for a training and are unable to attend, please call to cancel your registration.
  • If you are absent for more than two trainings for which you have pre-registered, you will not be allowed to register for another training until the following quarter.
