Plastics

Each year, millions of plastic surgery procedures are performed around the world. The science of plastic surgery has advanced at a remarkable rate over the past few decades and we have kept pace with the latest technologies. Our staff is ready to answer your questions about cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast augmentation, reduction and reconstruction.

Routine Procedures

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation, or enlargement of your breast, is done by using a pouch that is filled with saline. Saline is similar to your body’s normal fluids. The pouch is very durable and can withstand normal stress and pressure. In the rare case that the pouch should break or leak, the saline will not harm you.

Breast Reduction

During breast reduction surgery, a portion of your breast tissue is removed to decrease the size of your breasts. The incision is made either at the nipple area or under the breast. This surgery is selected:

  • To treat various medical problems caused by large and/or heavy breasts.
  • Because the breasts are of unequal size.
  • Because of personal or cosmetic reasons.

Breast Reconstruction

Breast reconstruction after a single or double mastectomy invovles many decisions, such as the choice of implant type and implant surgery. We are ready to answer your questions and to walk with you through the reconstruction process.
