Child Care Resource & Referral

Few child care homes and centers in Tennessee serve children with disabilities because they do not have the resources required to assist them in meeting the needs of these special children. Most agencies are willing and anxious to respond to the task, but they acknowledge a need for assistance in training their staff to work with children who have disabilities.

As part of the Therapy & Learning Center, Child Care Resource and Referral provides support for caregivers of children. We strive to meet the needs of child care providers by offering the information, education, training and materials required to care for children with special needs. Most of our services are provided at no charge.
