We know you are concerned about your loved one. We will do our very best to inform you of your loved one’s condition while he or she is receiving care in our Emergency Department, all while keeping with current privacy laws.

Except for the Emergency Entrance, all public entrances close at 10 p.m. and re-open at 5 a.m. daily.
Free parking is available for all patients and visitors at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. You are encouraged to park in Garage 1, which is located at 745 W. Forest Avenue (at the corner of Summar Drive and West Forest Avenue).
Parking in Garage 1 provides secure, covered, well-lit parking and easy access into General Hospital on the Blue or Orange Levels.
