SUMMARY:Helping Hand Radio Auction Annual Community Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Helping Hand Radio Auction is an annual community fundraiser in January – early March that keeps 100% of its proceeds in Henry County. Local groups donate items\, the community bids live on the radio or in-person\, and the funds support nonprofits that strengthen families\, serve youth\, care for seniors\, and meet urgent needs across our county.\n\nSince 1979\, this auction has been powered entirely by local generosity and volunteer spirit. Last year\, Helping Hand raised over $500\,000 for more than 90 Henry County organizations.\n\nJoin us in supporting the programs that care for our community!

DESCRIPTION:WTH – Henry County Hospital offers a Mobility and Assistive Technology clinic designed to help those in wheelchairs who may need adjustments or modifications. Evaluations are also conducted for power chairs and seat molding is also a service provided at these clinics. Augmentative Communication devices are also available for individuals with communication impairments. \nThe clinics are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
