Self Pay

Patients who are uninsured or fail to provide us with adequate billing information including proper managed care authorization referrals are responsible for the total payment of their bill. If you have any questions or need to make payment arrangements to resolve your account, please call our Hospital Billing Department Customer Service line at 800-233-2108, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Any payment arrangements, other than payment in full must be approved in order to keep your account from being considered past due. Please read the Payment Options page for more information.

Uninsured Discounts

If you are uninsured and have no third party insurance, you will receive a discount on your bill.

Current hospital discounts:

  • Bolivar General Hospital: 60% of total charges
  • Camden General Hospital: 55% of total charges
  • Infectious Disease Consultants: 50% of total charges
  • Jackson-Madison County General Hospital: 55% of total charges
  • LIFT Therapy: 50% of total charges
  • Milan General Hospital: 60% of total charges
  • West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital: 65% of total charges
  • West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital: 50% of total charges
  • West Tennessee Medical Associates: 50% of total charges
  • West Tennessee Medical Group: 50% of total charges

Uninsured discount percentages are calculated in compliance with Tennessee Code Annotated (TCA)-68-11-262 and the discount percentages will be evaluated on an annual basis and adjusted as necessary. This uninsured discount will apply based on total charges before any other discounts for which the patient may qualify. If eligible, other discounts under the Patient Financial Assistance programs will be applied on balances remaining after the uninsured discount is applied.
