Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is accepting applications for its summer Junior Volunteer Program. Junior Volunteers have the opportunity to gain valuable experience while working in a hospital atmosphere.
Junior Volunteer areas of service include, but are not limited to, nursing areas, gift shops, waiting areas, and deliveries. The program is approximately eight weeks. Volunteers are assigned hours according to the needs of the hospital, but they can expect to work approximately 28 hours during the program.
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age, and no more than 18 years of age by June 1, 2019 and have completed the 8th grade. Applications can be found at www.wth.org by clicking “About,” “Volunteer,” “Just for Juniors.” Requirements are outlined on the website, and applicants will be interviewed before being selected.

The deadline to submit completed application packets is March 15th. Completed packets must be received in the Volunteer Services Department or postmarked by 4:30 p.m. on March 15th. There are no exceptions to the deadline and incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
