Ears, Nose, and Throat

At a center where excellent patient care is a priority, our surgeons are prepared to perform the procedures that will give you relief from ear, nose and throat conditions that are keeping you from enjoying life to the fullest. Our routine procedures include tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, ear tube placement for adults and children, sinus surgery and septoplasty.

The tonsils are masses of glandular tissue that are located on either side of the back of  the throat. They are similar to lymph nodes and are part of the body’s immune system.  They sit at the entrance to the breathing passages and catch germs coming into the  system. If tonsils frequently become infected, a surgeon may perform tonsillectomy to remove the tonsils through the mouth to reduce the risk of infection.

Ear Tube Placement

Ear tube placement is the insertion of a small “plastic tube” into the middle of the  ear to help decrease ear infections. This small tube helps to decrease the  pressure in the middle of the ear. The tubes may stay in for months to allow the ear to heal. After the ear tubes are placed, you will not feel them.
