The neuropsychology team at WTH Medical Group is committed to providing precise cognitive assessment and assessment of an assortment of neurological and medical conditions that can impact behavior and cognitive function. Neuropsychology is a specialty concerned with memory, thinking, and learning. Clinical neuropsychologists are licensed psychologists with expertise in the applied science of brain-behavior relationships. They use this knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological, medical and psychiatric conditions, as well as other cognitive and learning disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Our experienced neuropsychologists have specialized expertise in a range of conditions. Talk to your provider about a referral for an evaluation that can provide an assessment of current cognitive functioning, monitor changes in cognitive functioning, identify causes of thinking or memory difficulties and assist in treatment planning.
