In this episode of the We Talk Health podcast, we sit down with Anna Hollandsworth, Home Health & Hospice Director to talk about the vital services offered through Henry County Home Health & Hospice.
Serving six counties—Henry, Benton, Weakley, Carroll, Stewart, and Humphreys—this program provides compassionate care to patients and families in the comfort of their own homes. Anna explains the key differences between Home Health and Hospice, both of which are covered under Medicare, and the wide range of services they offer.
Home Health includes skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and home health aides.
Hospice care provides support through nurses, social workers, CNAs, chaplains, and trained volunteers, focusing on comfort and quality of life for those with terminal illnesses.
Both programs feature a nurse on call 24/7, ensuring patients and families always have someone to turn to. If you’re interested in volunteering, ask for Carmen when you call, 731-642-7600.
