Bio
Hunter Crouse, DO, is proud to return home to Northwest Tennessee as a primary care physician with West Tennessee Medical Group – Martin. A native of Greenfield, TN, he has deep roots in Weakley County and is passionate about serving the community that shaped him.
He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin before attending medical school at LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. Dr. Crouse completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine program in Jackson, TN, where he served as chief resident during his final year.
Dr. Crouse has a strong interest in preventive medicine and rural healthcare. He is trained in adult and pediatric care, women’s health, minor clinic procedures, geriatric medicine, and hospital-based care. In addition to his clinic role, he also serves as a hospitalist at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hunter Crouse enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Vols, hunting, and spending quality time with his family. He and his wife, Macy, a fellow Martin native, recently welcomed their son, Max.
