Bio
Jennifer Leighann Wright, FNP-C, grew up in Halls and has called Dyersburg home for more than 20 years. She is proud to care for patients in the same community where she and her family live and work.
Leighann began her nursing career in 2009 after earning her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Dyersburg State Community College. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Martin and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She later earned a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Carson-Newman University.
With more than 16 years of experience as a registered nurse across surgical services, leadership, quality outcomes, and direct patient care, Leighann brings a well-rounded clinical perspective to her role as a family nurse practitioner. In the cardiology clinic, she is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care, emphasizing education, preventive health, and long-term support for patients managing chronic cardiovascular conditions. She values a collaborative, team-based approach and works closely with physicians and care teams to help patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care plans.
Outside of work, Leighann is married to her high school sweetheart and is the proud mother of three children—two boys and one girl. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son’s football games, and remaining active in her church.
