Bio
Wynter Miller, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in acute care surgery and surgical critical care. She provides advanced inpatient care for patients with complex surgical conditions, including those requiring intensive monitoring and postoperative management.
Wynter began her nursing career at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, where she worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. During her time there, she served as a charge nurse in the hospital’s 29-bed Surgical ICU, gaining extensive experience caring for critically ill surgical patients and coordinating multidisciplinary care teams.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2023 and completed clinical training at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care.
Today, Wynter practices as a nurse practitioner in Acute Care Surgery, where she helps manage patients with complex surgical needs and supports surgical teams in delivering high-quality inpatient care.
Outside of work, Wynter enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing with her dog, Mowgli.
