Bio
Joseph McClure, FNP-BC is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in critical care and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-focused healthcare. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Murray State University and went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University, becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021.
Before advancing his career as a nurse practitioner, Joseph spent six years working in the ICU, where he honed his clinical expertise and developed a steady, detail-oriented approach to complex medical situations. Since then, he has provided care in both urgent care and primary care settings, gaining broad experience in outpatient medicine. In September 2025, Joseph joined Kentucky Lake Urology, where he continues to provide high-quality, accessible care to patients across the community.
Recognized for his approachable personality and clinical precision, Joseph is dedicated to ensuring that every patient feels understood, respected, and supported throughout their health journey.
Outside of his practice, Joseph enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, and spending time on the lake. He especially loves watching his two sons, Noah and Eli, play sports. He and his wife, Amy, have been married for more than 21 years and share their home with their two dogs, Duncan and Nellie.
