Bio
Maryam Saleem, MD, is a dedicated and highly accomplished physician specializing in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. She has recently completed her Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital in New York City. Prior to this, she served as Chief Fellow.
Previously, Dr. Saleem was Chief Cardiology Fellow at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship, and was also recognized with the Robert Adolph Award for outstanding cardiovascular care. She also served as the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Ohio Chapter Fellow-in-Training Chair.
Dr. Maryam Saleem completed her residency in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University Hospital and earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Adult Echocardiography.
With a strong academic foundation and an extensive research portfolio, Dr. Saleem has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international cardiology conferences. Her professional interests center on advancing the field of cardiac electrophysiology and improving patient outcomes through innovation, precision, and evidence-based care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Saleem enjoys spending time with her family and new cuisines and cultures.
