Bio
Sara Story, MD, is an Internal Medicine physician with over a decade of experience as a hospitalist. She is currently seeing patients at West Tennessee Healthcare and brings a strong background in both clinical medicine and academic research.
Originally from Frankfort, Kentucky, Dr. Story grew up on a horse farm before earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from Elon University in North Carolina. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree magna cum laude from St. George’s University, with a distinction in research. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University in Morgantown.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Story has a robust research background with numerous publications in oncology and dermatology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Story enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying active with her two young sons.
