JACKSON, TN (September 8, 2025) – West Tennessee Medical Group recently welcomed Stephanie Bakey, DO, to her new medical practice at West Tennessee Medical Group Acute Care Surgery.
Dr. Bakey will be joining Rachael Armstrong, MD, Derek Thacker, MD, Randall Wright, MD and the Acute Care Surgery team, who have been providing high quality care services to patients in West Tennessee.
Dr. Stephanie Bakey earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed both a General Surgery Residency and a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship through Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health in Detroit. She is dual board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.
