Bio

Pamela Evans, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 25 years of experience dedicated to women’s health across West Tennessee. A native of Huntingdon, Tennessee, she has built her career on guiding women through every stage of life, from adolescence and childbirth to midlife and beyond.

Dr. Evans graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of the South in Sewanee, TN, before earning her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She went on to complete her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident and earned back-to-back honors as Most Outstanding Resident in OB/GYN in 1998 and 1999.

Over the years, she has practiced in Huntingdon, Paris, and Jackson, TN, caring for women in both private practice and hospital settings. In 2023, Dr. Evans joined Inspire Women’s Health, where she now focuses primarily on gynecology care. She also provides locum obstetric coverage, supervises nurse midwives, and serves as an attending physician for UT Family Practice residents, continuing her commitment to mentorship and the advancement of women’s health.

Dr. Pamela Evans is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is licensed to practice in Tennessee. Her patients and colleagues know her for her expertise, compassion, and unwavering dedication to providing personalized care for women in the region.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Evans is a lifelong Girl Scout and a proud Gold Award recipient. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts Heart of the South Council and on the West Tennessee Regional Advisory Cabinet, while also co-leading Troop 40100, a multi-level Girl Scout troop. Deeply rooted in her community, she is an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Paris, TN, where she participates in the Daughters of the King, a Christian order committed to prayer and service.

At home, Dr. Evans and her husband, Dr. Thomas Evans, enjoy a fulfilling family life with their three children, centered on faith, service, and community.
