Bio
Raised in Medon, Tennessee, Benjamin Bird, MD, attended Jackson Christian School before pursuing a Physics degree at Union University. He went on to receive his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, followed by a residency in Neurology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Bird’s primary clinical interest is in neuroimmunology, with a focus on the complexities of multiple sclerosis and related conditions. He also values the wide-ranging nature of neurology and its impact on patients’ lives.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Benjamin Bird enjoys college and professional football, baseball, and keeping up with trends in technology. He is excited to return to his home state and begin practicing with West Tennessee Healthcare.
