West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital is excited to contribute to the future of healthcare by helping train highly skilled physicians and physician assistants. We are a core teaching site for LMU-DCOM medical students and Bethel Physician Assistant students for their required clinical rotations.
Students attend noon didactic sessions for case studies, Yale reviews, OMM labs, Vanderbilt lectures, Kaplan presentations, and Truelearn board reviews. Students have the opportunity for direct patient care, hands-on experience, and have one-on-one preceptor to student interactions.
Our mission is to produce skilled, competent, ethical, and compassionate physicians and physician assistants who can prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases. The goal is to have students come back to West Tennessee as physicians and physician assistants to help heal our rural and underserved communities.
