West Tennessee Healthcare provides a comprehensive system for accessing patient records and medical information through Epic. Whether you’re a healthcare provider, employee, or patient, we’ve made it simple to request access tailored to your specific needs

External Users (Non-WTH Staff)

External users, such as non-WTH clinics, physician extenders, and third-party entities, can request access to manage and track patient records securely.

Common request types include:

  • Non-WTH Clinic Providers and Staff
  • Post-Acute Providers
  • Insurance Companies
  • External ROI Entities
  • Third-Party Billers
  • Physician Extenders

What you can do with access:

  • Review patient charts, including office visits, ER encounters, and inpatient records
  • Receive real-time notifications for medical events
  • Place orders for labs, imaging, and referrals
  • Manage upcoming appointments and adjust custom views

Internal Users (WTH Employees, Students & Instructors)

Internal users, including employees, students, and instructors, can request Epic access based on their roles.

Employees
Managers should complete the IS Application Request form to verify employee credentials.

Important: Training is required before access is granted.

For Patients

Patients can access their medical records quickly and securely through MyChart, a free online tool provided by West Tennessee Healthcare.

With MyChart, patients can:

  • View test results and provider notes
  • Schedule appointments
  • Manage prescriptions and more
