Bio

Gregg Mitchell, MD, is a dedicated physician and leader in family medicine. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1994 and joined the University of Tennessee Family Medicine program in 1999. In 2004, Dr. Mitchell was appointed Program Director, and he now serves as Department Chair for University of Tennessee Family Medicine in Jackson.

Passionate about advancing family medicine education and patient care, Dr. Gregg Mitchell has been an integral part of shaping the program’s growth and success.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as golfing and turkey hunting.
