Jessica Hale, DO, is a plastic surgeon with West Tennessee Medical Group. She provides thoughtful, patient-centered care supported by extensive training in plastic surgery, general surgery, burn care and surgical critical care.
Dr. Hale earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. She completed her general surgery residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She then completed a fellowship in burn and surgical critical care at Creighton University in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by advanced fellowship training in plastic surgery at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Her clinical experience includes reconstructive surgery, burn care, trauma care, surgical critical care and patient safety. Dr. Hale is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination.
Throughout her training and career, Dr. Hale has contributed to research, medical education and quality improvement initiatives. Her work has explored breast reconstruction, burn surgery education, trauma care, surgical site infection prevention, physician well-being and patient safety.
Dr. Hale believes exceptional surgical care begins with listening. She takes time to communicate clearly, answer questions and help patients understand their treatment options. Her goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports each patient’s health, confidence and quality of life.
