Bio
Laila Annamer, MD, is a pediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for infants, children and adolescents. She is passionate about helping families feel informed, supported and confident as their children grow.
Dr. Annamer earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed her pediatric residency training through the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. During residency, she cared for children with a wide range of health needs and gained experience across pediatric specialty areas, including dermatology, allergy and immunology, and gastroenterology.
In the clinic setting, Laila Annamer, MD provides care for well-child visits, sick visits, newborn care, vaccinations, nutrition counseling and ongoing pediatric health concerns. She believes strong pediatric care begins with listening carefully, educating families and creating care plans that support each child’s health and development.
Dr. Annamer is bilingual in English and Arabic and values the opportunity to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. Her background also includes research focused on improving influenza vaccination rates in pediatric clinics, reflecting her commitment to preventive care and child health.
Dr. Annamer is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, watching movies and TV shows, baking from time to time and traveling.
