Bio

Tameka Emerson, a family nurse practitioner (FNP), joined WTMG in 2020. With over two decades of nursing experience, she became a nurse practitioner two years ago. Her primary focus throughout her career has been on pediatrics and cardiology. In 2019, she completed a fellowship at Vanderbilt University, where she specialized in childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism. Outside of her professional life, Tameka enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking vacations.
