William Allen Gower is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Acute Care Surgery at West Tennessee Healthcare. Since beginning his nursing career in 2015, William has gained valuable experience across skilled nursing, cardiology, and interventional radiology, bringing a well-rounded and compassionate approach to patient care.
Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in 2023, William is committed to treating the whole person—not just managing symptoms, but supporting long-term wellness through personalized care and healthy lifestyle guidance. He finds great fulfillment in helping patients achieve improved health and a better quality of life.
William’s educational path reflects his dedication to continuous learning and excellence. He earned his LPN from TCAT Jackson, completed his RN at Jackson State Community College, received his BSN from the University of Memphis, and holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University.
Outside of his professional life, William is a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and a proud father of three daughters. His faith and family are his foundation, motivating his compassionate care for every patient he serves.
