Milan Hospital, licensed by the State of Tennessee and accredited by The Joint Commission, is a member of both the American Hospital Association and the Tennessee Hospital Association. Approved by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in Medicare and TennCare programs, Milan General Hospital offers a wide range of primary, acute, intensive, and rehabilitation services close to home.
The hospital became a wholly-owned affiliate of West Tennessee Healthcare on January 1, 1998. The primary service area spans Milan, North Gibson County, and Carroll County in West Tennessee.

Services at WTH Milan Hospital
With 70 acute care beds, 12 designated Swing Beds, and 3 Critical Care Beds, departments and services at Milan General Hospital include:
- Inpatient Services: Medical surgical unit, swing beds, emergency department, intensive care, acute care, and respiratory care.
- Outpatient Services: Cardiac Holter monitor, EKGs, cardiac rehab, and outpatient physical therapy.
- Diagnostic Services: Laboratory and pathology services, radiology (X-ray), mammograms (screening and diagnostic), ultrasound, and CT scan.
- Hospitalist Services: Physicians exclusively care for patients who are admitted to the hospital, and are involved in diagnosis, treatment planning, communicating with patients and their families, and facilitating transitions back to the community.
- Other Services: Pharmacy, sleep lab, outpatient infusion, and health information.

Staff here are great. Every time we have been there they have been polite and super-respectful. We've seen that it's how they are with all the patients. One of the best hospitals.
My wife just had a surgery at this hospital and I've had two in the past we both have received excellent care at this hospital
