Sleep Study Options
West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital Sleep Center offers both in-center and home sleep studies, giving patients access to testing options based on their individual needs and the recommendations of their healthcare provider.
In-Center Sleep Studies
In-center sleep studies are performed overnight at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital Sleep Center. During the study, specialized equipment monitors important information while you sleep to help identify possible sleep disorders.
Our team works to make your overnight stay as comfortable as possible while gathering the information your healthcare provider needs to better understand your sleep.
In-Center Sleep Studies: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m.
(Starting July 26, we will also be open on Sunday nights for in-house studies only.)
Home Sleep Studies
For some patients, a home sleep study may be an option, allowing testing to be completed in the comfort and convenience of the patient’s own home.
To help make the process as easy as possible, a member of our Sleep Center team comes to the patient’s home for an orientation meeting. During the visit, our staff provides the portable monitoring equipment and explains how to properly use it for the sleep study.
