Hope and Healing Foundation Shares Powerful Mid-Year Impact

Jackson, TNFrom providing essential resources for cancer patients to supporting those experiencing homelessness, the West Tennessee Healthcare Hope and Healing Foundation is proud to share its mid-year impact and it’s nothing short of inspiring.

With over $114,000 spent to help meet individual patient needs and an additional $70,000 directly supporting Kirkland Cancer Center patients, the Foundation has touched the lives of more than 1,000 patients this year. These funds helped cover a range of needs, including transportation, nutrition, essentials, and more, all focused on helping patients heal with dignity and peace of mind.

“We want the community to see the real and meaningful impact we’re having on the patients and families we serve,” said Donna Stines, Director of Philanthropy for the Hope and Healing Foundation. “When someone is facing a health crisis, sometimes the smallest things—like a ride to treatment or a bag of groceries—can make the biggest difference. That’s what we’re here for.”

Kirkland Cancer Center alone has seen over 200 patients, receiving direct support, helping ease the burden for families fighting some of life’s toughest battles.

The Foundation is also addressing critical needs outside the hospital walls. Through their homeless outreach initiative, they’ve distributed over:

  • 250 hygiene bags
  • 110 food bags, and
  • Provided transportation support to more than 240 patients

This work is made possible through generous donors, local partnerships, and a shared belief that healing extends beyond medicine.

The Hope and Healing Foundation continues to stand in the gap by making sure no patient walks through a health crisis alone. As the year continues, the Foundation remains committed to lifting lives, strengthening families, and bringing hope to those who need it most.
