Bio
Hassan Mujahid, MD, is a board-certified specialist in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from The Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Following medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University Hospital and pursued a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He recently advanced his expertise through an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Mujahid has a strong background in academic medicine and clinical leadership, with extensive experience in both inpatient and critical care settings. He has held positions at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, which is affiliated with the Washington University School of Medicine, Northwell Health South Shore University Hospital, Northern Westchester Hospital, NYU Health and Hospitals – Woodhull, and Carle Health Methodist Hospital. His clinical interests include interventional pulmonology, thoracic oncology, and complex airway disease, with a robust portfolio of research and publications in pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Hassan Mujahid is dedicated to evidence-based, compassionate care and remains actively involved in national medical societies including the American College of Physicians, American Thoracic Society, CHEST, and AABIP.
