Teresa Fowler, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, is a highly skilled nurse practitioner providing compassionate, patient-centered care at the Cardiology clinic with West Tennessee Medical Group. With a strong background in critical care and cardiovascular medicine, Teresa is dedicated to helping patients manage heart conditions and improve their overall quality of life.
Teresa earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she completed extensive clinical training across both rural and urban settings, including more than 1,300 hours in emergency and cardiovascular care.
Her clinical experience includes working as a cardiac midlevel provider in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, where she cared for critically ill patients following cardiothoracic surgery and managed advanced cardiac support devices.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Teresa served as a flight nurse and emergency room nurse, bringing a calm, confident approach to high-pressure situations.
Known for her attentive listening and thorough approach, Teresa is committed to building strong relationships with her patients and ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered in their care.
