Dr. Myers graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in biomedical engineering prior to pursuing a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a Medical Degree from The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he served as administrative chief resident and received the outstanding resident teaching award.
Originally from Atlanta, Dr. Myers has been in Jackson for over 10 years. His practice includes all aspects of general surgery. He has a special interest in robotic surgery as well as endocrine surgery. He serves as the Jackson Madison County General Hospital Surgeon Champion working with the Tennessee Hospital Association to improve surgical care and outcomes across the state.
Dr. Myers is married with two young children. He and his wife are active in the community and enjoy spending time with family in their free time.
