Bio
Ashish Agrawal, MD, is a triple board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician with more than 22 years of experience caring for patients in high-acuity hospital settings. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
Dr. Agrawal provides pulmonary and critical care for patients with complex lung and breathing conditions, as well as those who need advanced care in the intensive care unit. His experience includes medical, surgical, cardiovascular and neurocritical care units, where he has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support safe, timely and patient-centered care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Agrawal has cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has advanced procedural experience in ECMO cannulation, central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement, right heart catheter placement and management, intubation, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and chest tube insertion.
Dr. Agrawal completed fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He also completed internal medicine residency training at L.A.C.-U.S.C. Medical Center in Los Angeles. His medical background also includes pathology training and teaching experience through the University of Mumbai in India.
Dr. Agrawal is committed to evidence-based medicine, patient safety and clear communication with patients, families and care teams.
