Jayprakash V. Patel, MD, is a board-certified urologist in Jackson, Tennessee, with decades of experience caring for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions. He provides patient-centered care for men and women, helping diagnose and treat concerns related to the urinary tract, kidneys, bladder, prostate and male reproductive health.

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in general surgery and urology at the University of Missouri, followed by a urologic oncology fellowship at the University of Tennessee. He is certified by the American Board of Urology, with recertification through 2034.

Throughout his career, Dr. Patel has been involved in clinical research, publications and presentations focused on prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia and other urologic conditions. His background reflects a strong commitment to advanced urologic care, education and improving outcomes for patients.
