Bio
Dr. Mooney was raised in Millington, TN. She has two beautiful children, who she enjoys spending time with. She received her medical degree from ETSU Quillen College of Medicine in 2015 and completed internal medicine residency at University of Tennessee, Memphis, TN in 2018. Dr. Mooney started practicing as a hospitalist at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in 2018. In 2020, she began working as a teaching hospitalist for UTFM residency program in Jackson at JMCGH. She is passionate about inpatient medicine and caring for patients and their families when they are at their sickest and, sometimes, most vulnerable time in their lives. She also enjoys helping train resident physicians to become excellent clinicians. Her hobbies including kayaking, riding horses, hunting, running, and, most of all, spending time with her kids Brooks and Callie Jo.
