Micah Whitnell was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. Growing up, he had a passion for sports and outdoors, playing soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. While working towards his BSN at Union University, he worked part time as a patient care technician at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. After graduation in 2019, Micah worked in the Emergency Department at Jackson Madison County General Hospital where he decided to go back to Union University to obtain his MSN. Micah is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Micah began his career at Humboldt Family Walk-in Clinic transitioned to WTMG Primary Care- Northside and is now serving the Jackson community at West Tennessee Medical Group Neuroscience and Spine in Jackson. Micah’s current hobbies include disc golf and spending time with his friends and family. He is married to Kayla, and together they have two doodles, Milo and Millie.
