Micah Whitnell, a native of Jackson, Tennessee, grew up passionate about sports and the outdoors, actively engaging in soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. Concurrent with his pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Union University, Micah worked part-time as a patient care technician at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Upon graduating in 2019, Micah continued his career at the same hospital, working in the Emergency Department. Driven by his desire for further education, he returned to Union University to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
Micah is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner recognized by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. His professional journey commenced at Humboldt Family Walk-in Clinic before transitioning to WTMG Primary Care-Northside. Currently, he serves the Jackson community at West Tennessee Medical Group Neuroscience and Spine in Jackson.
Beyond his dedication to healthcare, Micah enjoys disc golf and treasures moments spent with his wife, Kayla, and their beloved canine companions, Milo and Millie.
