Bio
Omar Srour, MD, is an intensivist and critical care hospitalist who cares for patients with serious and complex medical conditions in the hospital setting. With advanced training in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care medicine, Dr. Srour brings a steady, thoughtful approach to caring for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Dr. Srour earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Al-Quds University in May 2015. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toledo in June 2022, followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in June 2025. He then completed additional fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in June 2026.
In his role, Dr. Srour works closely with hospital care teams to evaluate, monitor and manage critically ill patients who require a high level of medical attention. His background in internal medicine and critical care allows him to care for a wide range of acute and complex conditions, with a focus on clear communication, clinical decision-making and coordinated care.
Dr. Omar Srour is committed to helping patients and families feel informed and supported throughout the hospital experience. He values continuous learning, teamwork and patient-centered care.
Outside of medicine, Dr.Omar Srour enjoys staying active, reading history, traveling and continuing to grow professionally. He also values family life as an important source of balance, perspective and support.
