(Jackson, Tennessee – April 27, 2022) – Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is proud to announce that Antwan Robinson, M.D. has received the 2022 Doctor of the Year Award. This prestigious award was presented by Deann Thelen, CEO of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, during the Full Medical Staff Meeting on Monday, April 19, 2022.

The Doctor of the Year Award affirms Customer Excellence principles and honors physicians who exhibit these characteristics. The nominations were judged on the following criteria:

  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Good conflict management skills
  • Willingness to go beyond the scope of duty
  • Attitude of respect for other healthcare professionals

One of his peers commented, “Dr. Robinson exemplifies all of the above behaviors and more. I have personally worked with him in several aspects of the hospital setting and he is always approachable and willing to lend a hand in anything that I have ever asked of him. He is wonderful to his patients and gives each one of them his time as if they were his only patient. He is kind, compassionate, and caring. I have never witnessed him treating any other healthcare professionals as if they were beneath him or that the profession wasn’t important. He is always open to suggestions and seeks to improve.”
