JACKSON, Tenn. — March 10, 2022 — West Tennessee Healthcare is pleased to welcome Tommy L. Miller, III, MD, FACC, to West Tennessee Medical Group Cardiology in Jackson.
Dr. Miller has provided cardiovascular care to patients in West Tennessee since 2007. His clinical interests include caring for patients with heart conditions and severe peripheral vascular disease.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed his internal medicine and general cardiology training at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Dr. Miller then completed advanced training in interventional cardiology at Cooper Hospital and UMDNJ in Camden, New Jersey.
His approach to care centers on keeping the patient at the heart of every decision. Dr. Miller believes building a personal connection helps patients better understand their health and take meaningful steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
“I am a native of West Tennessee and I was born in Brownsville, TN,” said Dr. Tommy Miller. “I feel a special connection to the families in this area, and it makes me proud to be able to serve in the place I call home.
