Jackson, TN (October 19, 2026) –West Tennessee Medical Group is pleased to welcome Stefania Baccino, MD, a family medicine physician with advanced training in obstetrics.
Dr. Baccino brings experience providing full-spectrum family medicine care in both outpatient and hospital settings. Her background includes adult and newborn care as well as obstetric services, giving her a broad foundation for caring for patients and families through different stages of life.
Dr. Stefania Baccino earned her medical degree from the Universidad de la República School of Medicine in Montevideo, Uruguay. She later completed her family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis.
She continued her training in Memphis, completing a Family Medicine with Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship at Medicos Medical Center. She is board certified in family medicine and also holds certification in Family Medicine Obstetrics with Surgical Qualification.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Baccino has served as an assistant professor with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Memphis Family Medicine Residency Program. In that role, she has helped educate and supervise fellows, residents and medical students.
Dr. Baccino is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to providing comprehensive, respectful care while helping patients feel heard and supported.
