JACKSON, Tenn. — August 10, 2026 — West Tennessee Medical Group is pleased to welcome William Johnson, MD, to West Tennessee Medical Group Pulmonology.
Dr. Johnson is a pulmonologist who cares for patients with lung, breathing and complex respiratory conditions. He is committed to building strong relationships with patients and families through clear communication, trust and thoughtful care.
Dr. William Johnson has deep roots in West Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union University in Jackson and later earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he later served as chief medical resident. Dr. Johnson then continued his training with a pulmonology and critical care fellowship at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. He is board certified in internal medicine.
