The goal of the program is to enable persons with disabilities to learn to drive safely and independently in their own vehicles with the use of adaptive equipment and/or compensatory techniques. The evaluator identifies individuals with physical or cognitive impairments that have the potential to drive safely and then works with them to acquire their permit or license. This includes clinical and on-the-road training with one of our certified driving rehab specialists.
