Bio
Whitney Pugh, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant providing care at the Podiatry and Wound Care clinic. A Paris, Tennessee native, Whitney is honored to serve patients in the community she proudly calls home.
Whitney earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University’s Physician Assistant Program at the Paris campus. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Before joining podiatry and wound care, Whitney gained clinical experience in women’s health, pediatrics and emergency care. Her background includes wellness exams, patient education, diagnostic testing, acute and chronic care, and working closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support safe, timely and patient-centered care.
Whitney has a strong interest in musculoskeletal care and is excited to bring her experience to a specialized setting focused on foot, ankle and wound care. She believes good care starts with listening, clear communication and helping patients understand their treatment options.
Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband, their little girl, family and friends. She loves shopping and eating local, as well as spending time on Kentucky Lake. Whitney looks forward to helping patients put their best foot forward in all walks of life.
